Birthmarks
A birthmark is a blemish on the skin that is usually formed before birth, but can also appear later in life.
The most common types of birthmarks are:
- 'Café au lait spot'
- Congenital melanocytic nevus
- Mongolian blue spot
- 'Port-wine stain', or Nevus flammeus
- 'Stork bite', or Telangiectatic nevus
- 'Strawberry mark', or Capillary hemangioma
Depending on the type of birthmark, we have several ways to minimize or remove their appearance.
